The fate of the Carmine family lies in your hands. For the first time in franchise history, Epic Games and Microsoft are letting fans decide how the latest Carmine brothers experience pans out in a now annual death based event. The Carmine brothers started off in Gears of War, then we saw another Carmine in Gears of War 2, and now we’re to see another get killed (or survive!) in Gears of War 3. You’d think the Mother of the kids would read this article and prevent them going to a pointless death! Eh, not our issue.
Clayton Carmine, the latest of the Carmine brothers is once again on the front line and facing an early and untimely death, but fans can now decide if he is to live or die. To show your support, starting July 29th on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace will be two new shirts, one reads “Save Carmine” and the other reads “Carmine Must Die”. By purchasing either, you’re placing your vote as to the future of the final Carmine child.
If you’re attending Comic-Con 2010, you will be able to purchase real life copies of the t-shirts, as well as have posters signed by Cliff Bleszinksi, Rod Fergusson and Karen Traviss, and if you’re really really really keen, Ripten’s very own David Oshry is available to sign boobs babies foreheads.
