Nintendo is shipping an estimated 900,000 initial 3DS units into Europe during the first three weeks of its initial launch according to MCV.
The next-gen handheld will then aim to sell an astounding 4.5-5 million units of the 3D handheld in the first year of sales, however Nintendo has offered no comments on these sales figures. The new handheld has been under wraps for much of its development phase before just recently undergoing public press events the world over.
A number of publishers and developers are already on board to support the platform and it’s shaping up to be one of the year’s most awaited releases.
RipTen’s very own King Nintendo Fanboy was lucky enough to attend one of the press events that Nintendo hosted. Click here to be taken to his author profile and all his most recent Nintendo 3DS impressions.
