Blizzcon kicks off later this week, but before the convention has even begun, Blizzardhas announced that World of Warcraft will soon be available to consumers in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

“One of our top priorities is ensuring that our games are easily accessible to players all around the world,” said Blizzard COO Paul Sams, “We are confident that as a leading online game services provider in Southeast Asia, Asiasoft will help us reach many new players in this growing region.”

It’s no secret that Asia is one of WoW’s largest markets, and has helped them rack up over 11 million subscribers. This new partnership with Asian publisher and developer Asiasoft will no doubt pay further dividends, and includes Starcraft II and the forthcoming Diablo III.
