Bring yourself back to the days when you frequented arcades. Perhaps you never did, or perhaps your only experience with the arcades was at the local Chuck E. Cheese. Regardless, The Simpsons arcade game was a classic, and if you’ve yet to play it you are truly missing out. Yes, I’m talking about that side scrolling beat-’em-up game where you control one of The Simpsons and proceeded down the streets of Springfield, destroying everything in your path. The story of the game eludes me, but I certainly remember that beating people using Bart was¬†extremely¬†entertaining.

All of this brings me to the reason behind this trip down memory lane. Konami has decided to bring the arcade game to both XBL and PSN. The port has three modes: Quarters, Survival, and Free Play. It will be offered on XBL starting this Friday, February 3rd, and on PSN on February 7th. However, PlayStation Plus members will be entitled to this game for the low low price of absolutely free! Unfortunately, Xbox gamers are going to have to fork over 800 MSP or $9.99 to fart like Bart.
