Way back in October, we shared the exciting news about the Diablo III Collector’s Edition. Blizzard is jamming that box full of fantastic goodies including:

The full version of Diablo III for PC and Mac (obviously)
Diablo skull
4GB soulstone USB drive with a PC/Mac copy of Diablo II and Lord of Destruction
Behind the scenes DVD/Blu-Ray
Art of Diablo III book
Diablo III Soundtrack
In-game content for Diablo III, World of Warcraft and Starcraft II Battle.Net

The listing that appears on GAME’s website looks almost identical to what we already knew, with one glaring omission. While the USB drive is included, there is no mention of a pre-loaded copy of Diablo II and Lord of Destruction. This might not be a huge factor for the Diablo faithful, but for those that missed out on Diablo II and have succumbed to the hype of Blizzard’s next big adventure, it’s sad that it might not be included.

We don’t know if this is set in (soul)stone and, if so, if this spells bad news for the North American Collector’s Edition, too. We’ll keep you posted.
