In the surprisingly decent Transformers: War for Cybertron game that released a couple of years ago, (and in the less stellar Transformers games that have released in the past), we’ve had our chance to be both Autobots and Decpticons. Transforming into cars, trucks, and aircraft is pretty common practice in Transformers games. High Moon Studios, developers of War for Cybertron and its upcoming sequel Transformers: Fall of Cybertron seem to have be aware of that, and have done their best to add a little bit more to their next title.
In an exclusive trailer on Kotaku, you can get your first look at how the Dinobot Grimlock will look, and get a quick walkthrough of how he’ll control. Grimlock will be playable in various parts of the game’s single-player campaign, letting you tower over Decepticons, crush them beneath your feet, snap them up in your jaws, toss them bodily aside with a swing of your tail, and breath fire at them. If your at all interested in the Transformers property, I encourage you to go and check out the trailer, and remember: if you don’t like how it looks, the video is of an alpha build, and not at all representative of the final product. But if you’re seeing a robot dinosaur rampage, and aren’t at least partially impressed, there’s something wrong with you.
