Mo-cap actor and man behind Cole from inFamous, Eric Ladin fired off a few tweets that could lead to some wild speculation. A common assumption here would be either mention of the movie that is rumored or work being done for the next inFamous title.
One would be lead to believe that this is neither regarding a movie or the next game for the inFamous franchise, but an appearance elsewhere. With the current announcement of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Cole’s exclusive popularity on PlayStation 3, this rumor could be all but confirmed at this point.
Ladin seemed to spill the beans a little too quickly, and the tweets have been taken down. If you want to get a peak at them, head over to VG247 who was quick enough to nab some screen caps before the messages were removed.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale was revealed late last month via the GTTV television show. The game seems to run in parallel to fighters like Super Smash Brothers with the exception of how enemies are defeated. The player will pick up glowing orbs to fill a meter and execute one of three tiered super moves. Being a Sony exclusive, you can bet on seeing a lot of iconic characters like Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal and Kratos of God of War fame. The current release date is listed as Q3/Q4 of 2012. Is anyone pumped at the thought of our favorite electrifying hero making the Battle Royale roster? There are so many cool iconic characters in PlayStation history that it may be hard to choice, but Cole would be an impressive addition none the less.
