We’re finally starting to recover from a whirlwind E3 2012 filled with exciting new game announcements and rapidly approaching major releases (yes, I would very much like to play XCOM: Enemy Unknown right now). However, while some of those games are a bit of a wait, this week has some solid entries. The PSP gets some love with AtlusGungir, a tactical RPG making its way to North American shores for the first time. For off-road racing fans, the Dirt series gets a new entry with Dirt Showdown. RTS fans will want to check out End of Nations, which brings the game into a massive, persistent environment. Nintendo fans are getting updates to two classic games: Pikmin 2 and Mario Power Tennis. Even the Vita has two solid entries with Gravity Rush and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (transfaaaaaarring) hitting on Tuesday. The pick of the week though plays on our love for zombies and cheerleaders with a destiny.

Pick of the Week: Suda51’s latest joint is finally here. Lollipop Chainsaw stars the stunning Juliet Sterling, her boyfriend’s decapitated heads and a boatload of the undead monsters and human nuisances. You can expect RipTen’s review soon.
