Splinter Cell: Blacklist may have had its release date outed by Amazon UK. The online retailer lists the game as launching on March 29th, 2013. Before their listing, Ubisoft only had a vague “spring 2013” release date set for the game.

It looks like the addition of a release date coincides with a change Amazon UK has made to the game’s description. It seems that the online retailer holds the exclusive UK rights to the Upper Echelon Limited Edition of the game. This special bundle contains an A2 map of the conflict zone and bonus digital content (including an Upper Echelon suit containing five armour pieces with a “unique visual and damage protection bonus”, special goggles that allegedly shine gold, and a bonus mission) contained inside an exclusive steelbook.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be releasing on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and maybe, if the rumours are true, the Wii U. There is no word yet on whether the Upper Echelon edition of the game will make its way the North America, but we’ll let you know when we hear something.
