In case you were wondering, that fall rush I’ve been warning about? It’s here, baby. Buckle up, because the next few months are going to be an exercise in budgeting and financial management. For fans of portable gaming, Nintendo wants you to be a gold-digger with New Super Mario Bros. 2 (alongside the 3DS XL). For the rest of us, you can dig into something a bit grittier in both realistic and fantastical flavors. If you’ve been hankering for some crazy martial arts and gunplay, Square Enix and United Front Games have you covered with Sleeping Dogs. Perhaps you’ve been holding onto your Wii for one last game. The Last Story from XSeed is looking like the swan song of the little white box. Our pick of the week though, well… I can’t say much about it. Embargoes prevent me from gushing.
