Good news for Ubisoft fans waiting for the PC port of Assassin’s Creed III – that wait won’t be very long.

Though the console version of Desmond’s continuing adventures will be released on October 31 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (and at launch for the Wii U, whenever that may be), Windows PC players will have to sit tight for less than a month. Ubisoft has announced that AC III will launch for PC on November 20, meaning players (no matter their preference) will be able to celebrate Thanksgiving by assassinating during the American Revolution.

This should come as good news for fans of a franchise that has not always been as timely.  Though Assassin’s Creed: Revelations released on PC close to its console debut, Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood all came to PC months after arriving for controller addicts.

While we’ll all have to wait until at least October to see Desmond’s story conclude, there is plenty out there, including our preview of the title, that should excite fans about the franchise’s upcoming installment.

  1. It seems to me an incredible game just like the franchise’s previous two versions. PC users must be eagerly waiting for the game. Personally I am taking too much interests for getting info about this much-awaited game of the year.
