Continuing their trend of Call of Duty advertisements with murderous celebrities, Activison has released this year’s version of the commercial for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 focused around the unexpected events in life- watch it here:

While trailers that don’t include the actual game or product can be good (Microsoft’s Jump In campaign had some great ads), I’m genuinely curious as to whether they make anyone more excited about a game. Also, having anyone in the commercial say “Codblops” so as to signal that Activision recognizes the ridiculousness of long title names would’ve made me pretty happy.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 comes November 13th to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows. A WiiU version will arrive on November 18th in North America, and on the 30th in Europe and Australia.
