The release of Gears of War: Judgment is less than two weeks away and Microsoft and Epic Games wants to make sure you are properly motivated for the prequel and fourth installment of the franchise.

The latest cinematic trailer features rock a track titled Shooting the Moon by the UK band Mona, and acts as a highlight reel showcasing the new class-based multiplayer approach. Have at the video below.

I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the change in multiplayer just yet, but Alan Van Slyke, Senior Producer of  Gears of War: Judgment at Epic Games had the following to say about the upcoming release:

“‘Judgment’ is a tribute to the die-hard ‘Gears’ fans who have been with us since the beginning and an amazing experience for anyone who loves intense action and gripping, cinematic storytelling … Thanks to the support of partners at People Can Fly, we’ve pushed the ‘Gears’ franchise in all-new directions while bringing back some of the key elements that put us on the map, and we can’t wait to share it with the world on March 19.”

If you’ve been playing Gears for a long time and consider yourself a die-hard fan we’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on all the changes Judgment has planned like class-based multiplayer. Drop us a comment below.
